The watch remains in superb condition. Strong case with all lids closing tightly and the front lid smoothly opening when the top button is pushed down. Winding smooth and running with fine accuracy (+ 3 seconds every 24h, amplitude of 305º).
The enamel dial features the well-known A Lange & Söhne signature, black Arabic hour markers and a sunken decentralized seconds hand. Original set of golden ‘spade’ hands.
The sturdy yet elegant savonet case is made of 14 carat yellow gold. The case shows a tiny dent in the edge.
The covers bear the same serial number as the movement; 69422.
Both lids are plain and bear no personal engraving or monogram.
The refined movement is made of the famous and well known A Lange & Söhne quality.
Fine finishing with blued steel screws and a swan neck regulator.
Accompanied by the original box and a certificate.
If you look closely you will find that the serial number 69422 is written across an earlier written number. We are confident the certificate is original from A Lange but that it has been adjusted to match this particular model.
In our opinion a must have for the avid pocket watch collector.
