Description
Extremely attractive gents pocket watch featuring a number of collectible complications;
– A chronograph with 30 minutes double pivot sub register
– Triple-calendar with the weekdays and months in ‘digital’ apertures (Spanish)
– Moon phase indication
– Hours, quarters and minutes repetition
The watch, retailed by the Spanish watch and jewelry store El Trust Joyero, remains in an unrestored all original state with little sings of use.
The white enamel dial features black Arabic hour indications, working well together with all original six hands in striking blued steel. Dial shows some faint hairlines (see pictures).
The 18K yellow gold case has been finely decorated with floral patterns and a coat of arms shield centralized on the case back. An uncommon feature on the case finishing is the mat gold edge whilst the vast majority of pocket watches from this era are mirror polished. The case bears multiple gold hallmarks for 18K gold.
The inside dust cover is also made out of gold. This inner lid is remarkably thin, showing a number of dents (no cracks whatsoever). All lids closing tightly.
The watch his accompanied by its original pearl inlay hard wood box.
