La Phare Chronograph and Repeater with Erotic Automaton

Ever since this couple got together at the Swiss watchmaker’s workbench at the end of the 20th century, they have never left their honeymoon phase. Been fooling around for over a century, and it’s up to the new owner how often they get a rest in the years to come. In any case, the watch offers much more than that, with its large size, chronograph and repeating functions, heavy rose gold savonette case and Swiss made movement.

This fine timepiece remains in good and unrestored condition, featuring a rare and collectable erotic automaton at the second hand.

The flawless enamel dial has a classic configuration with large Roman hour indices, smaller Arabic minute markers and a 1/5 seconds chronograph indication. Erotic scene in gold as second indication.

The sturdy 14 carat gold savonette case measures 60 millimeters without crown (74 mm with crown).
All three lids bear a Swiss 14K gold hallmark, the inner lid is signed La Phare and shows several international medals.
The case is in overall good condition, showing normal sings of wear such as scratches and a small dent in the side.

The glass protected dustcover reveals the fine Swiss made movement.
The watch is fully functional with a perfect working chronograph function and both the hour and quarter repeater striking clear tones.
